It is estimated that 120,000 new homes will be built in Colorado over the next ten years. This, and a concurrent increase in commercial construction, presents an extraordinary opportunity to increase the use of renewable energy in our communities. The most cost-effective way to do this is to design renewable energy systems into our new buildings.

The sun and the wind have always been the Earth's primary resources for heating and cooling of water and space. Finding the best methods to utilize these natural resources is the ongoing challenge of those who wish to perpetuate our planet and preserve its vital essence for today and generations to come. With abundant solar radiation and the natural wind pockets of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado is ideally suited for putting nature to work at heating, cooling, and electrifying our buildings.
